AND THE WINNER IS... Crystal Cruises has been awarded three Travel Weekly magazine Magellan Awards for last year's $25 million redesign of its largest ship, Crystal Serenity. Given for top design in the luxury cruise ship category, it earned Gold Awards for its penthouses and non-suite staterooms and a Silver Award for Overall Ship... Crystal was also named 2011's "World's Best Large Ship Cruise Line" by Travel and Leisure magazine and "Best Mid-Sized Cruise Line" for 2011 by Conde Nast Traveler magazine...Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2 was named the best of class of the "Top 10 Large Resort Ships" for its Princess and Queens Grille-Suites in the 2012 Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships... Oceania Cruises was named the "Most Innovative Cruise Line" by the Virtuoso luxury travel network... Virtuoso also recognized Regent Seven Seas Cruises as the "Best Luxury Cruise Experience"... Seabourn was named "Best Small-Ship Cruise Line in the World" by Porthole and Conde Nast Traveler magazines.
